Pre-scan screening is required to exclude patients with metallic devices. If you have a cardiac pacemaker or defibrillator, artificial heart valve, cerebral aneurysm clip, neurostimulator, cochlear implant, penile implant or a cranial shunt we will need an implant identification card or an operative report for patient safety.
